There are three local companies that have desks at the Domestic terminal and offer shuttle and van services from Bali Denpasar Airport: Transport Minivan, Trans Tuban, and Pesona Nusantara. They have their own vehicles that are usually more spacious than airport taxis. To find out more, visit their counters at the terminal.

Bali Taxi Service

Taxi cabs are probably one of the most popular Bali Airport transfers. To find one at DPS, look for any taxi kiosk on the arrivals level outside the terminal. There are metered (such as Bluebird taxi) and fixed taxi fares; you should agree on a fare with your taxi driver before starting a ride.

The approximate taxi fares are as follows:

  • Bali Airport to Kuta / Seminyak / Sanur / Nusa Dua - $15;
  • to Uluwatu - $22.

Even though this type of Bali Airport transfers is often used, people are starting to use other options more and more since taxis usually get negative feedback lately.

Uber is not operating in Bali, but there is a similar taxi service known as Grab Taxi. This is a smartphone app-based company, and you can find out more if you visit their website.

There is another unusual option at Bali Airport - motorbike taxi (Ojek). You can find one of them at the Domestic Arrivals terminal. The price is similar to the taxi vehicles, so we recommend using a regular taxi service rather than Ojeks.

Public Transportation

Bali Airport is accessible by public buses for a few years now. Managed by the Bali Province, the bus company is called Sarbagita. This is the cheapest Bali transfer that can take you to Denpasar, Badung, Nusa Dua, and several more places. Two routes (Koridors) serve Airport DPS - Koridor II and Koridor VIII.

The one-way bus ticket is Rp 7500, which is only $0.53.

  • How to find the bus pick-up spot at DPS?

The buses stop on the ground floor, at the International arrival terminal. Go to the furthest left corner (where the taxis park as well).

Rental Cars

If you want to have the unique opportunity of exploring this amazing island at your own pace, you should use Bali Airport Car Rental. Although it is more expensive, it also has many advantages and it is worth the cost.

There are several rental companies that serve DPS Airport:

  • Avis
  • Budget
  • Europcar
  • Hertz
  • Sixt

The prices depend on the type of vehicle; One-day rates start from $35. To find out the exact price, click here.
