Public buses are often used by those who don’t have a lot of luggage and aren’t in a hurry. Their affordable prices attract passengers who want to cut their costs and avoid taxi service.
To the city:
You can catch a local bus for only 1.50€, which is definitely the cheapest way to get from Nice Airport to the city. Bus #23 Bella Vista will take you to Boulevard Gambetta and the train station, and buses #52, #59, and #70 go to the Promenade hotels, Place Masséna, and the Old Town.
Go through the Terminal 1 parking lot to the Promenade des Anglais to get to the bus stop. Also, remember toflag the airport bus down or it might not stop.
If going back to the airport, use the bus #23 Centre Commercial which is the only one that can take you into NCE and drop you off at Terminal 1.
The Nice Airport Express Bus #98 can take you to the beach hotels and the Old Nice for the price of 6€. It has frequent departures - runs every 20 minutes from NCE. The bus ticket gives you one free transfer, so you can use other bus lines in the city(#9, #10, #81) to get to the Nice Port.
If you want to go to the main train station, you should take Gare SNCF Bus#99 which leaves every 30 minutes. The Nice train station now offers free internet access and luggage storage.
The best bus transportation from Nice Airport to Cannes is via Cannes Express Bus no. 210. You will be at your destination within 45 minutes. It is pricier than regular public buses but more efficient.
This service costs 22€ for adults. Those younger than 26 can travel for 16.50€, and children under 12 pay only 5€. Purchase your tickets from the airport driver or use online booking.
The public bus no. 200 is slower and has more stops, so the journey can take up to 90 minutes. This kind of cheaper transfer is not recommended for time-sensitive passengers.

There is no train line that is directly connected to Nice Airport. However, you can use a public bus to get to the main train station and then continue your journey. Alternatively, if you don’t carry a lot of stuff, you can walk to the Saint Augustin train station which is 15 minutes away by foot.
The train journey to Cannes will take about 35 minutes and it will cost only 5.90€. You can notice that this is definitely the cheapest transportation option from Nice Airport to Cannes.
Even though there is no train station at NCE, you can buy train tickets at the shuttle bus station at Gate AO at Terminal 1 or at Terminal 2, Arrivals level Gate A2.
