Public Transportation

Cut your costs by using public buses and use the saved money for some Rome tours or souvenirs. There are several low-cost bus lines operating to and from Rome Fiumicino Airport.

  • T.A.M Bus can also take you from Rome Airport to Roma Termini or Ostiense Station, only for €5. It departs every 30 minutes and stops at the same location as SIT Shuttle Bus.

  • Terravisin Bus stops at the Terminal 3 Arrivals area, and it’s bus no. 7. It departs every 30 minutes and goes to the center of the city centre. The one-way fare is €6 per person (or 4€ if paid online). The ride takes up to 50 minutes.

Train

There's a railway station at FCO near the Arrivals and Departures terminals, where you can find two train lines:

  • Leonardo Express Train has a direct connection between FCO Airport and the city which runs every 15 minutes and can get you to the city within 32 minutes. The one-way ticket costs €14.

  • Regional FL1 doesn’t serve the central Roma Termini Station, but it can get you to Trastevere, Ostiense, Tiburtina, or Tuscolana Station. The one-way fare is €8.
