Quickly find cheap rides from Akron Canton Airport to Cleveland

If you need to get from Canton to Cleveland Airport, there are a few options. The shuttle van service may not be running anymore, but Uber or Lyft are reliable choices. Renting a one-way car is also doable, with Avis offering good rates. Public transportation is available through Sarta and the Cleveland RTA, but it doesn't run on Sundays. GoBus offers a longer route from Canton to the airport as well. In my experience, Uber is the easiest option despite being pricier. If you're on a budget and don't mind taking longer, public transportation could work for you too.

Did You Know?

As a local, I can tell you that getting from Canton to Cleveland Airport can be a bit tricky, especially on a Sunday night. There used to be a shuttle van service between the two, but I'm not sure if it's still operational. Some people have had success with Uber or Lyft, but it's not always guaranteed, especially on a Sunday night.

One option that worked for a visitor was a one-way car rental from Avis. They offer 4-hour rentals for a very reasonable price. If you're considering this, make sure you have a credit card on hand as rental companies at the airport often don't accept debit due to fraud concerns.

Public transportation is another option. Sarta has an express route to Akron, and Akron has an express route to Cleveland. However, this will only get you to downtown Cleveland, not the airport. From downtown, the Cleveland RTA has a rapid rail line that goes directly to the airport.

If you're tech-savvy, you can use the transit app to navigate the public transportation system. However, keep in mind that the Sarta-bus service doesn't operate on Sundays.

Another unique option is the GoBus from the Canton Cornerstone Transit Center to the Cleveland Greyhound station. From there, you can walk to Tower City and board the red line train to the airport. This option is quite affordable but can take up to 2.5 hours.
