I’ve used Go Alpine numerous times over the years to travel from the Yampa Valley Airport to Steamboat Springs, and they’ve never been anything but timely, courteous, and reasonably priced.

I very rarely if ever write reviews but… This is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with in my life!!!! People need to be warned!!! Do not use this company or any of the other company names they do business under!!! This company was at one time, the BEST taxi/shuttle service in northwest colorado. Since the new owners took over last year…That is no longer the case. They are horrible!!!
No matter what name they decide to do business under, Go Alpine, Co West, Steamboat Shuttle Service, (these names are only a cover for their bad reviews), they are horrible! If you are looking for reliable transportation in Steamboat, you won’t get it here! Not only do they treat their customers with absolute unprofessional behavior, they also treat their employees like disposable chew toys.
They were once an organized, professional, prompt and riable transportation company. Now, due to extremely poor management, they are the worst transportation company by far!!! They leave people stranded…they just take your money and don’t show up!!! They are rude, they have little or no office professionals for customer assistance, they won’t even take the time to answer the phone or return messages. When they do answer, it’s usually by someone that’s obviously on drugs, and can’t even communicate. They even allow CDL drivers that have failed drug tests and continues using to continue driving, putting lives in danger! They take credit card payments and don’t provide the service promised!!!
Do you yourself a favor…DO NOT USE this company or Co West, or Steamboat Shuttle for your taxi/shuttle service!!! They will ruin your vacation!!! They will ruin your day!!! They will NOT provide the service promised. They will leave you and your family stranded in freezing cold weather…they do not care about their customers. They are horrible!!!

Don’t use this company. I booked two seats on an 8.40am shuttle from Steamboat Springs to Denver. Without any communication they moved us to a 5.30am shuttle. When I emailed them to query why I’d received a new confirmation with a different shuttle time they informed me that they don’t offer a shuttle at 8.40am (even though I have a booking confirmation for 8.40am). When I asked to cancel, they said they would have to charge a cancellation fee. I’ve explained in various emails and on calls with their belligerent customer services team that they are not providing the service I booked and therefore they can’t charge a cancellation fee, to which their response is that this is their policy! So their policy is to profit from their mistakes and breach of contract. Lovely. They even acknowledged on the phone that their system is making mistakes! They have now gone silent and won’t refund any money at all.

I was super nervous to book this for my 730 am flight based on prior reviews, but there is not really an Uber presence in the area. I didn’t learn that until emerging from the backcountry the evening before my flight home. The operator explained last winter they had some issues and thought they had weeded all of those out, Robert, my driver, was early, and even came into the hotel to find me. Courteous and safe driving, we arrived at the airport in plenty of time. Would take the shuttle again!!

I wish I didn’t have to put a star at all! The service from this taxi/shuttle service has declined rapidly since the new ownership has taken over!!! I’d rather take the bus, call an Uber, hire a private driver…anything but use the service. They only have 2 decent drivers on staff, Jeff and Patrick!!! Ryan is awful and NOT one of them. He doesn’t care about his job or the clients. He’s rude, abrasive, and was high! The owners obviously don’t care about prompt service because they are consistently late on pickups, but they also don’t seem to care about the safety of their clients. Ryan was obviously high and reeked of pot when he pick us up (38 minutes late). He’s a CDL driver and it’s against state and federal laws for him to drive under the influence or even use drugs at all! It puts peoples lives in danger. I have called and left numerous messages for the owner/manager with a sub/manager (whatever that is) named “Z” and have never received a return call. The previous owners of this business ran an outstanding operation! It’s too bad that it’s being ran into the ground. It’s time for a new taxi company to come into Steamboat and take over!!!

Made these reservations weeks in advance. Received a call the day before pickup was scheduled to confirm pickup time of 5:05am to ride to airport for 7:20am flight. They did not show up. We stood outside in the cold for over half an hour calling the business. They wouldn't answer the phone because it is before their business hours. We were stranded with no way to the airport. Will never use them again.
Received a call hours later with an apology and they credited our round trip bus ride.
Initial ride when we flew into Steamboat Springs from the airport to condo was easy and as expected.

This shuttle is the best way to get to and from Steamboat! They are punctual, pleasant, and promptly get you to your destination. Their shuttle vans are clean and comfortable. There is not need to rent a car in Steamboat, especially in the winter, because of their excellent transportation system.

After our flight had been canceled and we arrived in Hayden a day later, I thought we might have a problem with our shuttle reservation into Steamboat. We were delayed a bit, which was fine considering we came in on a flight a day later (and they had to wait for the next flight to arrive), but the trip into town was seamless, and they promptly picked us up for our return trip back to the airport and got us there with time to spare. It is a great service that I would use again.
