WORST SERVICE ALL AROUND I HAVE EVER RECEIVED IN MY LIFE!!!!
On November 30, I arrived at JFK at 2PM. I checked in at Super Shuttle which I had booked via Jayride. The van was full and we dropped off customers at their destinations along the way. I was the second to last drop off. When we get to my hotel I come to find out the driver GAVE SOMEOTHER CUSTOMER MY LUGGAGE!!!... WE HAD MADE SEVERAL STOPS!!! I REFUSED TO GET STAY AND LEAVE THE VAN. The driver said he ‘thought’ he knew where potentially the mistake was made… We proceeded to make the last drop off of customers and there was a piece of luggage left behind, assuming that this was the ‘mistake’ switch of luggage (ALTHOUGH MY SUITCASE WAS BULKY LARGE BLACK and the left behind suitcase was a SLIM ORANGE CARRY-ON.) THE DRIVER HAD THE AUDACITY TO PICK UP NEW CUSTOMERS…. We go to the hotel where the driver believed the mistake was made 15 BLOCKS from my drop off location… we get to that hotel the driver with the left behind luggage at hand and I go to the Hotel Reception. He speaks with the receptionist, NEITHER THE DRIVER or RECEPTIONIST, are disclose to me the Potential customers name to me. The receptionist tries to contact guest/customer but they/he/she has apparently left their room. THE DRIVER PROCEEDS TO LEAVE ME WITH THE LEFT BEHIND OTHER CUSTOMERS LUGGAGE IN THE RECEPTION… NO WORD OR INDICATION THAT HE WAS DOING THIS… I WAS LIVID!!!
I had many valuables in my luggage but the one of most concern is …. MY INSULIN I AM DIABETIC IT WAS IN MY LUGGAGE!!!!... The hotel was also astounded that the Driver dare leave. They were as helpful as they could. BY THIS TIME ITS 5PM…. I waited at Reception 2HOURS hoping the guest(s) would return…. Bare in mind that there was a possibility my luggage was not with these guests.
OF COURSE DURING THIS TIME I CALLED REACHED OUT TO SUPER SHUTTLE … Only to get hung up on twice…. Play the transfer the call around to different folks until I got placed on hold for 30mins….
The nice receptionist, recommended I head to my hotel and that she would do her best to get a hold of the guest upon their return. It was 7PM at this time…. I PAID $25 Dollars to take a cab to my hotel …. I reached out to SUPER SHUTTLE AGAIN ONLY TO GET NO WHERE…they told me I had to contact JAYRIDE…
JAYRIDE HAS NO AVAILABLE TELEPHONE TO CONTACT….. I end up having to contact support via a CHAT on the JAYRIDE… THEY DO NOTHING… THEY say the most they can do is refund my ticket, and that they have nothing to do with the service that they are only a comparison site…. NO APOLOGY … NOTHING!!! SCREW ME…. SCREW MY SUITCASE GETTING LOST… SCREW MY MEDICATION… Suggest I should contact Super Shuttle. SO MUCH FOR THEIR GUARANTEED CUSTOMER SATIFACTION!!!
AT THIS TIME IT IS 8:50PM… I AM ON BACK ON THE PHONE WITH THE SUPER SHUTTLE…. THEY SAY THEY WILL REACH OUT TO THE HOTEL…. I GET PLACED ON HOLD ONLY TO GET DROPPED AGAIN….
At 10:30 PM the Receptionist at the other hotel where my luggage is at contacts me... confirms that her guest has my luggage, and sends my luggage to my hotel and picks up the luggage I was left with today.
8HOURS OF HELL FROM TAKING YOUR SERVICE!!!!
Do you think there was a follow up form JayRide or SuperShuttle the following day concerned about the issue? Seeing if it was resolved? A refund? A reach out to personally apologize for their mistake? NO ALL I GOT WAS THIS AUTOMATED MESSAGE ASKING FOR ME TO RATE THEIR SERVICE!!!!
I AM WILL BE GOING OUT OF MY WAY TO RATE JAYRIDE AND SUPER SHUTTLE ON ALL POSSIBLE RATING SITES!!!!!!!!
HORRIBLE SERVICES!!! YOU ARE LUCKY I WAS ABLE TO GET A HOLD OF MY INSULIN IN TIME!
