Needed to cancel return trip because no shuttles available at that time of night and could not get credited back for money paid.

They took a reservation which was cancelled because of Covid , rude customer service rep refused to refund my money after they refuse to accommodate my daughter and honor their agreement to ensure safe passage to LAX.
I've been in the transportation business for 20 years I've driven Presidential candidates and the nice old lady next door. You don't pick and choose who and when you drive, WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN HOLDING MY MONEY FOR 8 MONTHS. THE NEXT CALL IS TO THE SHERIFF AND THE NEXT CALL AFTER IS TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL. GET MY KID TO THE AIRPORT OR REFUND MY MONEY.

Well the first three times I had a pleasant experience. The drivers were always polite and friendly. They deserve tips. It's not a party bus or anything extravagant but it gets you where you need to go without having to drive yourself to LAX or asking someone to take you. The space can be a bit tight (before Covid 19 pandemic, not sure about during).
I tried to make a reservation during the pandemic as sometimes we still need to travel during this time. The guy who answered the phone (not sure if he's the owner) was not of much help and said that he didn't have a shuttle available for the time I needed. The website doesn't allow you to make any reservations at the moment (pandemic 9/15/2020) so you have to call the number listed on Google. The website said that there are special limited and private services available but I wasn't helped nor did I feel like a valued customer. This is my first unpleasant experience. I just rented a car instead because I don't need the hassle. It's supposed to be "hassle free" as it says on the website. However, I can extend grace as we're all doing our best to make it through this pandemic. Just be more considerate of the customers!

The owner of this company was rude, disrespectful and did not keep his word. We needed to make a time change on the shuttle schedule due to a flight change and he told me he would make the change with no charge or penalty if I called back at a later date. Once I called to make the requested change he told me he would need to charge an extra $25. He asked if I knew how a business ran and that I must understand they can't run a shuttle without charging more for changes. He told me he never said he would make the adjustment for free and that "he did not remember telling me that." The dishonesty and disregard for the customer was appauling. This could be a great service if it were not for the owner. I would not recommend this outfit, especially during this pandemic and times of uncertainty with airline changes to flight schedules.

Central Coast Shuttle is a nice ideal if the owner was not such an unpleasant person. His customer service skills are to say the least; horrible. He’s rude, disrespectful and always argues with clients. If you need a service animal choose an alternative service. He’s not animal friendly and crosses the line that the government has documented to protect the individuals who need service animals due to disabilities. Charged my credit card but didn’t follow through with my reservation to LAX. Excuse given no driver available.
Other employees have been east going and in general nice.
Alternative choice is Santa Barbara Airbus in Goleta, Santa Barbara and Best of luck to all in need of transportation to and from LAX.

The shuttle on their tv commercial we never saw. Instead going to LAX we were on a little cramped van. Coming home from LAX it was a bus with NO shocks or suspension system. Our bus driver went airborne when we hit bumps but then we did too.For the price surely the shuttle's can be maintained or better???
