All ground transportation, except for on-site rental cars, is available at the lower level curbside (Arrivals/Baggage Claim) of the terminal.
In case you are not familiar with some of them, you can check our detailed list below and find out information about every transportation option.
CLT Airport has its own Rental Car Facility, and it is currently served by nine rental companies. You can find all of them in the Consolidated Rental Car Facility in the Level 2 lobby of the Hourly Parking Deck in front of the terminal. If you have any questions about rates or reservations, use the contact information from the table below to find that out:
Once you make a reservation, you have to pick up a car. In order to do that, you should exit the terminal on the lower level (Arrivals/Baggage Claim) and go directly across the car and shuttle/bus lanes to one of the covered walkways into the Level 2 lobby. When you get inside, find the counter of the rental company you called, and a representative will assist you.
When returning a car, follow signs along the CLT roadways toward the Hourly Parking Deck. Drive past its entrance on your left and take the next entrance immediately to your left directing you toward Rental Car Returns.
If you need a taxi, you should know that Taxi Service is available curbside, on the Baggage Claim level. From 6:45 AM to 12:15 AM, there is an attendant on duty to assist you.
Passengers may prearrange to use any taxi service provider, but you don’t need to worry if you didn’t make a reservation. There are four taxi companies always available through the Airport’s taxi queue: City Cab, Crown Cab, Green Cab, and Yellow Cab.
